a note to an end - I

writing is an expression. an expression is an attempt to freeze time. so writing ultimately deals with time, the temporariness of all phenomenon. some equate this with the human attitude towards death. but death is not there if you speak its name. we need new names for deaths. we need new words for names. do we need new expressions? well, what is the ultimate reason for expressions? is it evolutionary fitness? is it the naive belief in life? don't remind me that I described it as an attempt to freeze time in the second sentence. this description is not helpful. every human action tries to overcome time regardless of its content. commenting on reasons necessitates another realm in which time is not a dimension but only specter of a fictional mind wanders around.
